Pours deep garnet with a dense rich tan head. Plum and raisin aromatics float gently over the head with spicy alcoholic background. The rich caramel maltiness is balanced by sweet dark fruits, light bitterness and medium hop flavors. Its medium body disguises the strength of this extreme brew. This beer pairs nicely with roasted beef. Try with Gruyere, Abbey de Belloc, Chimay, and St. Simeon cheeses.
